Clucky Greenie Female Chicks
This is a Pre-Order for chicks that will be hatched the week of June 16th, 2025.
Clucky Greenies are our green egger line that was affectionately named by our children! They are a first generation olive egger. The hens are either a soft blue color or striking iridescent black color. These lovely gals are lighter framed and consistently lay green eggs in varying shades from light bluish-green to green. This line is crossed with one of our Soft Sage roosters, and their eggs have white speckling over them! These gals are very productive! I love collecting a basket of green eggs! (Especially with white speckles!)
It is hard for me to predetermine how many chicks will hatch in each color. However, if you have a preference for a certain feather pattern, simply let us know in the notes section of checkout and we will do our best to give you the color you prefer. :)

Size: 5-6 pounds
Temperament: Flighty
Egg size, color, and production: Large Green egg 5+ times a week. Egg color can vary from light blue-green to green, and usually have white speckling over them.
Good in a free range setting
Clean legs, pea comb
Females are black or blue. Occasionally the blue hens have added feather colors mixed in with their main color.
Sexlinked and can be distunguished at hatch. This trait will not be passed on the future generations.
